Rohit Sharma took over as India’s captain in all formats earlier this year but he has been leading white-ball teams for years, standing in for the former captain. Virat Kohli Occasionally. Rohit’s captaincy was always in evidence after winning multiple IPL crowns for Mumbai Indians. Since taking over as India’s full-time captain in the shortest format last year, Rohit’s biggest test was the T20 World Cup in Australia where the team ended its campaign in the semi-finals.
Preparations for Rohit’s next big test have begun with the ODI World Cup at home next year and the series in Bangladesh. India lost the first match of the series after a lackluster performance with the bat and in the field, and as usual, many fans and pundits also criticized Rohit’s captaincy for the defeat.
Sports website SportsKida has come up with a poll on Twitter asking fans to rate Rohit Sharma’s captaincy.
Among all the responses, one caught everyone’s attention. It was Rohit’s former teammate and Indian cricket great Yuvraj Singh. He wrote an easy 10 on 10 in the comments.

Yuvraj’s support is not unfounded as Rohit has a great record and winning percentage in leading the national team.
The biggest problem since then MS Dhoni India’s inability to win the ICC trophy led to his resignation as captain and that is one of Rohit’s goals.
Virat Kohli also enjoyed great success rates across formats but a lack of ICC trophies meant his captaincy tenure did not achieve the heights it deserved.
