WWE has introduced various programs over the years, and Next in Line is one of them. If you haven’t heard of it, you will soon see the results as more cross-over athletes make their way from NCAA competition to the WWE main roster. In fact, WWE appears to have already signed another former athlete to NXT Alexis Gray.
WWE has successfully signed Alexis Gray to an NXT contract. Alexis Gray is a former track star Texas Southern University. He was certainly impressive in his field for several reasons.
According to TFRRS, Alexis Gray placed second at the 2019 SWAC Outdoor T&F Championships, as she completed the 100-meter dash in just 11.68 seconds. He originally placed first at the Howie Ryan Invitational held in February 2019.
Alexis Gray has already reflected the changes on her official Instagram account, as she now has both WWE and NXT tags on her handle. In fact, a recent post suggests that she has already taken part in her first NXT photo shoot

WWE has signed various collegiate athletes as it helps them create a new generation of superstars who are making it big in their domain and among the people around them.
We’ll have to wait and see how Alexis Gray fares in NXT, as her athleticism will put her ahead of the other female competitors in the NXT women’s locker room.
