WATCH: Cristiano Ronaldo leaves defender on floor, Al-Nasr shows stunning skill on debut | football news

The big moment has finally arrived after Cristiano Ronaldo made his long-awaited Al-Nasr debut, dominating European football for more than a decade and mesmerizing fans on a new continent. While Ronaldo failed to find the back of the net in Sunday’s 1-0 win over Al-Ittifaq in the Saudi Pro League, the Portuguese footballer showed his excellent skills on the ground. In his debut game in Riyadh, Ronaldo played the full 90 minutes and kept the crowd engaged by displaying his superb skills on the ball.

Al Nasr’s Brazilian forward Anderson Talisca put Ronaldo’s side ahead shortly after the halfway point.

Abdulmajid Al Sulaihim sent in a cross that Ronaldo tried to rush into the box to meet, but it went over his head and met Talisca, who managed to score. Minutes later, Ronaldo lined up a free kick outside the area and had a great chance, but his shot went high and wide.

Throughout the game, Ronaldo continued to get into promising positions but could not find the elusive goal that would make his professional debut even more memorable. Here’s the video of the moment Ronaldo skillfully left a defender, bending him with his skill:

In the second half the 37-year-old raced the ball down the byline and fired in a terrific cross, but the resulting shot missed the mark.

Earlier on Thursday, Ronaldo scored twice for the Riyadh All Stars team in a 4-5 loss to Lionel Messi’s Paris Saint-Germain in an exhibition match.

With 14 games under their belt, Al Nasr trail current champions Al Hilal by one point.
