In its bonus episode “The Kurt Angle Show,” The WWE Hall of Famer shared something about his match that annoyed Vince McMahon.
“I had a bad habit of talking too loudly,” Angle said. “Vince McMahon – I’d come back and Vince McMahon would be like, ‘You’ve done it again. You need to stop talking so loud, the fans can hear you.’ But you know what, you’re going to do? You’ve got to make sure your opponent hears you. If you don’t, you make some call, and you go do it, and he doesn’t know what’s going on, then you’re doubly confused. I I feel like even talking at a certain level, even if the fans can hear it, it’s okay, because you know what, when you’re in wrestling you’re going to talk anyway. They don’t really know what you’re actually saying.”
This isn’t the first time McMahon has yelled at Angle. the time One of his podcast episodes from October, Angle revealed that he screamed a few times when he first started to moonsault off the top rope.
Speaking of McMahon, as noted, The Wall Street Journal revealed Thursday, He reportedly agreed to a multi-million dollar settlement with former World Wrestling Federation referee Rita Chatterton. Chatterton accused McMahon of raping her in 1986. Vince McMahon’s lawyer told the WSJ that McMahon has always denied raping Chatterton and that he only settled the case “solely to avoid litigation costs.”
