The Indian cricket team’s veteran fast bowler was a force to reckon with recently against Bangladesh in the Test series. The pacer has been close to the Indian setup for over a decade. The pacer is an integral part of the team and will play a huge role in the Australia Test series.
Umesh Yadav was cheated by his former manager Shailesh Thacker who promised him to buy land worth 44 lakhs in Nagpur city of Maharashtra. Umesh Yadav has started cheating allegations against his former manager. He earlier worked for Umesh Yadav in 2014.
Police complaint against Shailesh Thacker
The official said how the incident happened. “In time Thacker gained Yadav’s confidence. He started handling all financial affairs of Umesh Yadav. He handled Yadav’s bank accounts, income tax and other financial functions. Thackeray set up a plot in a barren area. He told Yadav that he would get it for Rs 44 lakh. Yadav deposited Rs 44 lakh in Thackeray’s bank account. But Tagore bought the plot in his name.” said the official.
“Yadav lodged a complaint with the police at Koradi, following which a case was registered under sections 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating and thereby dishonestly distributing property) of the Indian Penal Code.” The official added.
Important Test series for India
The upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 is quite important for the Blues as they need to win the Test series 3-1 or 3-0 to claim the World Test Championship (WTC 2021-23) final race. It will be interesting to see if Umesh Yadav gets a direct game as there is a lot of competition.
The Aussies are keen to end a 19-year drought as they have not won a Test series since 2004. The Australian cricket team has not had a quality spinner since Nathan Lyon. Even though the pitches are spinner friendly they can play with 3 fast bowlers.
