All Elite Wrestling commentator Tony Schiavone recently attended a virtual signing with HighSpots Superstore, where he talked about a number of topics including how he believes AEW will return to Arthur Ashe Stadium in 2023.
Tony Schiavone says:
“We are [AEW] Will go back there (Queens, New York). We had the Grand Slam at the Arthur Ashe Stadium and we’ll be back there I think for another year. Haven’t seen it on the schedule yet but I’m sure there are plans to do it. It was a good place for us, it was.”
Tony Schiavone then talked about how he has a knack for making sh*tty matches exciting.
Tony Schiavone says:
“I have a gene that a lot of people don’t know about that makes me try to make even sh*tty matches sound exciting (Sciavone laughs) … My work featured 2000 WCW, I can tell you.”
