The former WWE star thought he had a backstage hit with Undertaker

The Deadman has been a staple of WWE television for over three decades, as he reigned over WWE since the early 90s. He finally retired at Survivor Series 2020 and was even inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year.

Jason Sensation joined WWE during the Attitude Era as an impersonator, although he never competed in the ring. He briefly aligned himself with D-Generation X during their rivalry with The Nation of Domination.

However, due to complaints from other wrestlers about his influence on them, WWE eventually released him from his three-year contract. Now, he has memories of his time at the company that will live on in his brain.

“The Undertaker, he was a great guy. He was really good to me at my last party with WWE after WrestleMania 18. I thought he always warmed to me. He was always messing with me. He came and sat with me and he told me that I was his favorite impersonator and all these nice things he said to me.

And he’s like, ‘I didn’t know you worked with the company guy. I wish you well’ as he bid me farewell. And he was like, ‘You’re a good kid. You’ve got a kind of future. Something’s going to happen for you’ and we had a beer together and it was really nice. He gave me a really nice send-off when, you know, I was afraid of him most of the time when I was backstage recognizing him as a leader.”

The Undertaker will forever be revered no matter what. We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for The Deadman. He is loving his life after retirement and that is what matters now.
