India celebrated its 74th Republic Day on Thursday and the cricket fraternity took to social media to extend their wishes on the momentous occasion. Star India Batter Virat Kohli, who was instrumental in India’s 3-0 ODI series win over New Zealand, took to Twitter and shared a video of the Indian flag. Former Head Coach of India, Ravi Shastri, also extended his wishes on Twitter. “Happy Republic Day. Jai Hind,” Shastri captioned a picture of the Indian flag.

India celebrates its Republic Day on 26 January every year as the country adopted its constitution on this date in 1950.
