Virender Sehwag Known for his witty comments on social media. The former Indian opener often shows his humorous side in tweets that go viral. Since playing his last international match in a Test against Australia in March 2013, Sehwag is now a household name as a cricket expert for channels and websites. He also runs a school – ‘Sehwag International School’, whose admission process for the season 2023-24 has started. Sehwag found a unique way to announce his school phone number.

“Skool ka number kya hai? Comment or call?,” he wrote along with a photo that had the text written on it. “ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR 2023-24 SESSION. CALL NOW @ Gambhir’s 2011 World Cup final score, David Shepherd on one leg, two fat ladies, Yuvraj’s score in 2007 T20 World Cup semi-final, Don Bradman In his last Test innings.”

Sehwag then responded with his own tweet: “Actually could have written my score in the 2011 WC final in the last option instead of Bradman’s last Test score.”

In December, Sehwag took to Twitter and praised Ashwin’s performance with the bat, particularly in the second Test against Bangladesh at Mirpur. India needed just 145 to win the match and the series 2-0, but India’s top order fell to the tricks of Bangladesh’s off-spinners. Mehdi Hasan Mirage, who took five wickets to reduce the visitors to 74/7 at the start of Day 4. But Ashwin (42 not out) and Iyer (29) put on a 71-run eighth-wicket stand as India eventually won the game.

“Scientist has done it. Got it somehow. Great innings and great partnership from Ashwin. Shreyas Iyer“, Sehwag captioned a meme on Twitter.
