Jay Briscoe’s loss is deeply felt and will be mourned for a long time, yet fans and professional wrestlers continue to offer their support and condolences to his family and loved ones. That being said, the other driver’s family and their families aren’t getting the same warmth and are being attacked on social media. Now it seems Jay Briscoe’s wife and friends are against the attack.

The ROH Hall of Famer was tragically involved in a fatal car accident last week. Delaware State Police confirmed another driver crossed the center line and collided head-on with his vehicle. Police are currently investigating the incident.

As previously reported, a donation page was A family friend of the Briscoe’s has offered their help to the Pugh family for fans. In fact, it broke its original Goal of $50K, close to $300k.

The driver of the other vehicle, Lillian Ternahan, also died in the tragic accident. The organizer of the Pugh family’s donation page, Josh Wharton, addressed the vile attacks Ternahan’s family has been receiving recently, as he condemned the attack.

“This has been a difficult week for our community, but it has also been heartwarming to see the outpouring of love for the Pugh family during this tragedy. Once again – Jamin has touched many lives around the world and it is evident by the daily tributes, comments and love we all witness. The girls are still thriving, because God is going to hear all our prayers.

Unfortunately this has not been the case for other families, as there have been many rumors and information-which have led to attacks/disparaging comments on social media that the family has seen. His children will read them at some point.

Jamin, Ashley, the Pugh family, me and Kc don’t stand for it. In times of tragedy, finger pointing does not undo what has been done.

The driver of the other car has 2 young children, and we should all show them the same love and compassion we did for the Pugh’s. Be reminded that their world has also been undeservedly turned upside down and a huge hole has been left in their family.

I sincerely request everyone to stop negative comments and feelings towards them. Let me remind you all that none of us—and I know myself better than anyone—have something we are not proud of. We all struggle with everything.

Who are we to judge an entire life by the outcome of this tragedy. Only love can conquer hate. Pray for them without expressing hard feelings.”
