IPL 2023: WPL will start from March 4 to 24; May 28 final of IPL

The inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is scheduled to be held on March 4 and the final on May 24. The WPL is expected to be an interesting contest as BCCI has allowed 5 foreign players in the playing eleven which will make the competition quite exciting.

3 IPL franchises: Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) bought the teams. Along with them, Adani Sports Pvt Ltd bought the Ahmedabad team for Rs 1,287 crore which is huge in women’s franchise cricket.

The inaugural edition of WPL is going to be held from 4th March to 24th March The Women’s T20 World Cup final is on February 26 and the league starts in a week. The WPL is set to kick off the Men in Blue’s home season as India play two Tests and 3 ODIs against the formidable Australian cricket team.

IPL Date Announcement

It is understandable IPL It is going to be held from 1st April and the final will be on 28th May as England’s home season starts from 1st June. At the same time, the World Test Championship (WTC) final will be held from June 7 to June 10. Australia and England players will be available for the entire tournament.
