Indian cricket team registered a great win against New Zealand in third ODI. The Men in Blue won the match by 90 runs and became No. 1 in the ODI rankings. Skipper Rohit Sharma scored a brilliant century with the batsman looking in great touch and silencing all outside noise.
New Zealand’s middle order has once again failed to perform to its credentials. Captain Tom Latham’s soft dismissal proved to be the turning point of the match. The batsman managed to score just 25 runs in the ODI series which is a concern for the management.
Kamran Akmal on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma
Kamran Akmal was interacting with Salman Butt on his YouTube channel and made interesting comments about Rohit Sharma.
“I don’t support three captains in three different formats. You can have two captains. Also, now is not the time to change captains, because you have the World Cup coming up. You could have made the change after the T20 World Cup last year, because the new captain would have had some experience by then. Said Kamran Akmal.
“You can definitely have two captains. You can manage workload this way. Captaincy in all three formats is not easy. Virat kohli ki himmat hai vo 5 sal nikal gaya, Rohit Sharma ko one sal nahi hua aur uski halat dekha lo kya ho gayi. Toss mein batana bhul gaya ki bating karni hai bowling (Kohli is brave that he has spent 5 years as a captain in the format. Rohit hasn’t completed a year and look what happens to him. Even if he wants to toss he forgets to bat or bowl).” she added.
Great win for India
The management will be very happy as Shardul Thakur brings success for the team at the crucial stage of the match. The batsman also played a handy knock of 25 off 17 balls at the end of the innings to help India set a daunting target of 386 runs.
Many did not think that India would win the series 3-0 as New Zealand’s batting line-up was good. The biggest positive for the Men in Blue in this series was the rise Good luck Gill The batsman scored 360 runs including a double ton and a century.
