Grayson Waller is arguably one of the top heels on the NXT roster. The arrogant Aussie loves to insult fans and opponents with his great mic skills. Waller is currently involved in a title feud with NXT Champion Braun Breaker. Waller unsuccessfully challenged Breaker for the title at New Year’s Evil a few weeks ago on WWE NXT. The challenger was moments away from defeating the champion, but fell out of the ring after the ring ropes snapped. A technical mishap allowed Bronn to retain his title. After running his mouth and brawling with Breaker, Grayson Waller “apologized” to the 2nd generation superstar.
Grayson Waller recently faced the Brawn Breaker at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. The entire encounter was recorded NXT star-in-training Alexis Lette, who went live on Instagram when the incident happened.
Grayson Waller started the fight by throwing a bottle at Bron Breaker. The two began trading shots with no signs of backing down, with both men eventually separated by developing talent.
Ahead of this week’s episode of WWE NXT, Grayson Waller took to Twitter to apologize for his actions from Monday.
“It’s time for #WWENXT to apologize”
On March 14, 2021, Grayson Waller signed with WWE. In a short period of time, Waller established himself as a promising main eventer and a future champion of the NXT brand. Bron Breaker’s apology probably didn’t mean much, especially if you look at the “Bron Breaker Is My Beach” t-shirt he was rocking during the video.
Braun Breaker will defend the NXT Championship against Grayson Waller in a steel cage at NXT Retribution Day. The event takes place on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. We’ll have to see what’s next for them, but Breaker probably isn’t taking Waller’s apology seriously.
