Chris Jericho discusses when he will start thinking about retirement

Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho was a recent guest WTF with Marc Maron. During his appearance on the show, Jericho, 52, discussed when he might consider retiring from in-ring competition.

Speaking on the show, the 32-year-old veteran said the following:

“People say, ‘Well, how much longer are you going to do this?’ I can finish tomorrow, [or] I can finish five years from now, or who cares? Sting is 63 and still doing great things. So who knows, people? To me, as long as you can still compete at a high level — like I have a high standard for myself. If I went out there and two, three, four times in a row I was like, ‘Ugh, I’m starting to phone it in,’ I’d quit.”

As of the time of writing, Chris Jericho is approaching his 100th match in AEW, sitting at 81 matches in the company.
