There’s been a lot of drama surrounding the whole Vince McMahon saga and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to stop. It started a few months ago when Vince was caught on serious sexual harassment charges. As a result of these allegations, the chairman of the company has retired from the company. At the time, many people assumed that Vince would one day return to the company, and they were right. A few weeks ago, Vince successfully His way back to the strong armed company.
Ever since his return, there have been many rumors and speculations. To add to the drama, WWE’s co-CEO at the time, Stephanie McMahon has submitted her resignation.
Amidst all the rumors and confirmations, one question was on everyone’s mind – who would run the creative side of the business? Although Triple H addressed it in a recent talent meeting, there are some concerns about the jobs of some of the people Triple H rehired after Vince’s departure.
One man from that rehabilitated class of superstars, Carrion Cross gave a recent interview San Antonio Express-News. During the interview, the former NXT Champion expressed his feelings towards Vince McMahon’s return.
He pointed out that currently no one is afraid of losing their job and they are all ready to adapt if necessary. He also said they were all trying to remain ‘optimistic’ about the situation.
“It’s in my news feed, it’s everywhere. At this point it is inevitable. But the people I’ve talked to about it, like my personal friends with the business, no one is really concerned or afraid for their work. We’re all ready to adapt. … I think everybody’s taking it day by day with where things are going, and we’re all trying to stay optimistic.”
