Former ECW star and pro wrestling veteran Blue Meaney recently appeared on SportsKidder’s WrestleBingz program to talk about various topics such as Vince McMahon’s return to WWE and how people thought a year and a half ago that Vince would sell the business while he was firing talent.
Neil Maya says:
“From what I understand, I know he’s back now, but before all this happened, I always thought that if you were under investigation, you weren’t allowed to contact anyone or do anything. I read that he might be looking to get back and sell the company. Who knows? Maybe a year, a year and a half ago, people were assuming that with all the firings and salary dumping, people would be like, ‘Oh! He will sell the business!”
Blue Meanie also talked about how Amazon buying WWE would be a no-brainer and how it would make the most sense.
Neil Mia says:
“If I owned WWE, I would sell it to someone like Amazon. Because you’d think Amazon already had them streaming [service and] They sell everything. So imagine Amazon buys WWE and you buy a product that you can sell and keep 100% of the sales. To me, that would be a no-brainer, where if they sell it to a television company, the television company has to set up all that infrastructure to sell a new one. [WWE Shop]. Amazon? They already have everything, so they just ship WWE stuff to the Amazon warehouse.”
