Sussex batsman Tom Clarke signs contract extension
Clarke, 21, played 25 County Championship games and averaged 26.23.
He averaged 32.27 in his 12 one-day games for the club and scored a career-best 104 off 106 deliveries against Surrey last season.
“Tom is another example of a promising young player who has come up from the path and broken into the first team,” said Keith Greenfield of Sussex.
“He had a great season last year and we expect more from him in 2023,” added the club’s director of pathways and partnerships.
Sussex did not disclose the length of Clarke’s extended contract.
